The inspiration for the classic Lobmeyr Alpha beaker was a baroque copper tumbler from the MAK Vienna, which itself is influenced by Islamic design language. Finest muslin glass, mouth-blown into wooden forms, provides for their elegance. Delicate feathers, engraved line by line into the surface of the glass, symbolise this lightness.
